The best kept Trevi Fountain travel secret

When in Rome, the Trevi Fountain is a must…but with the Trevi fountain comes crowds and lots of them. If you’re hoping to get a photo in front of the fountain I recommend going early in the morning. But if you’re simply wanting to take it in while enjoying a cocktail I have a little travel hack to share.

Directly across from the Trevi Fountain there is a local hotel called the Relais Fontana Di Trevi, that just so happens to have a beautiful rooftop bar that is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. So, instead of battling the crowds to get a photo, you can simply walk across the street and view the Trevi Fountain while sipping on a glass of local wine.
